Mentorship Atlanta will award and recognize program participants for their Achievement Excellence and Dedication as well as Community Service. The Awards will be named after Ibn Sina.
Ibn Sina who is also known as “Avicenna” is one of the most influential philosopher and thinker of the pre-modern era. His contributions are ranging from medicine, pharmacology to physics, astronomy, chemistry and philosophy. He was also a poet and theologian. His most important contribution to medical science was his famous book al-Qanun, known as the “Canon” in the West." Criteria and eligibility

The Awards
There are two types of wards; 1) Achievement Excellence and Dedication Award 3 mentees in the amount of $ 700 each visa card gift certificate. 2) Community Service Awards 3 program participants in the form of a smart device (Ipad, nexus, smart phone) The awards will also include a plaque recognizing the winner which will be presented during the Mentorship Month Gala. Selection Process:
The committee members will review candidates and make the selection based on the criteria above. Awards will be handed out during Mentorship Month in January. Deadline for submission is December 30th |
